Nordhorn seeks investors for new supermarket in Stadtflur and Oorde

The city of Nordhorn is seeking investors and operators to develop a new grocery market in the Stadtflur and Oorde districts. The proposed site is located south of Immenweg, between Heseper Weg and Oorder Weg.

According to the city’s retail and center concept, these districts currently lack sufficient food shopping options. The city has expressed a specific preference for developments that include residential apartments on the upper floors of the market building.

Interested parties have until November 6, 2026, to submit proposals covering operations, assortment, sales area, building design, and purchase price. Political decisions regarding the project are expected to take place in early 2027.
