Nordic banks expand and renovate regional operations

Sparebanken Møre has reached a significant milestone in the rehabilitation and development of its headquarters in Ålesund. The project focuses on modernizing the building for employees and the city while preserving its historical identity. To maintain its connection to the local community, the bank is reusing old demolition materials in the new floors and stairs, and the renovation has uncovered various historical traces within the structure.

In Denmark, Sparekassen Thy has expanded its presence by opening a new full-service branch in Aalborg. Located in Vingårdsgade, the new office is led by branch manager Christian Enemark and is staffed by ten employees. The move aims to strengthen the bank's foothold in North Jutland by offering both private and business advisory services, combining physical customer meetings with digital capabilities.
