Nordic Semiconductor and KAGA FEI announce new wireless SoC and Bluetooth LE 6.0 module
Nordic Semiconductor has introduced the nRF54LM20B, an ultra-low-power wireless System-on-Chip (SoC) designed for AI-enabled edge applications. The chip features an integrated Axon Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to accelerate AI inference workloads while maintaining energy efficiency. As the highest-memory option in the nRF54L Series, it includes 2 MB of non-volatile memory and 512 KB of RAM.
Building on this hardware, Japanese company KAGA FEI has launched the ES4L15MA1, a compact Bluetooth LE 6.0 module based on the Nordic nRF54L15 SoC. The module features an Arm Cortex-M33 core and a RISC-V coprocessor. It is designed to shorten development cycles for IoT devices by providing ready-to-use embedded software and a command-based API via UART. The module maintains a small form factor of 8.55 x 3.25 x 1.00 mm.
