Nordis Group obtains first building permits for Mamaia complex

The Nordis Group has announced the acquisition of its first three building permits to resume construction on its real estate complex in Mamaia. The permits cover building number 4, which includes commercial spaces and apartments, building number 5, which includes parking, commercial spaces, and apartments, and a third building designated for commercial spaces and parking.

The group is currently involved in a fraud investigation led by DIICOT, which has imposed precautionary seizures on several lands and buildings. According to Nordis, DIICOT expressed its agreement for the issuance of urban planning certificates and construction permits in an official letter dated April 2026.

Nordis representatives stated that resuming construction and completing these projects is the only viable way for creditors to recover investments and for sales contracts to be finalized. The group also reported that in May 2026, it submitted a request to the Brașov City Hall for urban planning certificates to continue work on its real estate ensemble in Brașov.
