Norfolk State University celebrates 2026 homecoming

Norfolk State University celebrated its 2026 homecoming, highlighting the institution's vibrant campus culture and the Spartan Legion band in Norfolk, Virginia.

The university, founded in 1935, has recently seen significant financial growth, including a record-breaking $50 million gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. This follows a previous $40 million donation in 2020. President Javaune Adams-Gaston noted that such support is intended to catapult the institution toward higher levels of excellence and student success.
