Norihiro Yokoyama wins World All-Star Jockeys title

Norihiro Yokoyama secured his third victory in the World All-Star Jockeys (WASJ) competition at Sapporo Racecourse, marking his first win in the event in 17 years. Yokoyama clinched the individual title after a decisive victory in the final race (Race 4) riding Million Crown, allowing him to overtake his competitors in the final standings.

In the individual rankings, Australian jockey Zac Lloyd finished in second place, followed by fellow Australian Damian Lane in third. Veteran jockey Yutaka Take, who participated in his 30th appearance, finished fourth overall.

In the team competition, the JRA Selection team defeated the WAS Selection team (comprising foreign and local regional jockeys) with a score of 261 to 187 points.
