Norika Fujiwara reveals late-night movies as her way to refresh

Japanese actress Norika Fujiwara shared her method for staying refreshed amidst a demanding schedule of stage rehearsals and promotional recordings. In a recent Instagram post, she revealed that her “secret pleasure” is attending late-night movie screenings.

Fujiwara explained that while she wishes to see many stage plays, she often cannot make it in time for evening performances. Consequently, she finds comfort in slipping into a cinema at the end of the day. She noted that immersing herself in different worlds through various genres—including suspense, romance, sci-fi, horror, and anime—provides a necessary sense of release and mental refreshment for her work on stage.
