Norita Cortiñas documentary screening to fund new museum

A special screening of the documentary ‘Norita’ will be held at the Sala Norita Cortiñas within the Espacio INCAA-ATE Cultura in Buenos Aires to benefit the Norita Cortiñas House Museum and Cultural Center project.

Directed by Jayson McNamara and Andrea Tortonese, with executive production by Jane Fonda and Gustavo Santaolalla, the film explores the life of the human rights activist. All proceeds from ticket sales will fund the preservation and transformation of Cortiñas’ former home in Castelar into a museum and cultural center, which is projected to open to the public in 2027.

A multidisciplinary team is currently working to inventory and preserve over 1,000 personal items and documents from the residence. The event will include the documentary's directors, producers, and family members of Cortiñas.
