Norma Group completes 208 million euro share buyback

Norma Group has completed its second major share buyback program, totaling approximately 208 million euros for the acquisition of 9.3 million shares. This move concludes a planned capital return of 260 million euros following the sale of the company’s water management business.

The buyback was significantly oversubscribed, with shareholders offering 19.6 million shares—more than double the intended amount. Consequently, the company fulfilled orders on a pro-rata basis. The acquired shares, representing roughly 29 percent of the current share capital, are intended to be canceled.

Following this capital return, the company’s focus shifts back to its core operations and the implementation of its ‘NewNORMA’ strategy. While the company reported revenue growth and improved adjusted EBIT in the second quarter of 2026, analysts note that the Mobility & New Energy segment continues to face challenges from a weak automotive market. Future growth is expected to be driven by Industry Applications.
