Norma reduces prices on 14 meat products

German discounter Norma has announced permanent price reductions on 14 different meat products, including minced meat, steaks, goulash, hamburgers, and sausages. According to a company press release, customers can save up to approximately 8 percent on these items. Specific reductions include Gut Bartenhof fat-reduced beef mince (400g) dropping from 5.99 to 5.49 euros, and various pork products such as minced meat and steaks also seeing price cuts.

The price adjustments are subject to regional availability. This move follows similar price reductions on grilling goods implemented by the retailer in July.

Simultaneously, competitors Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd have also reduced prices on over 20 meat products, including schnitzel and goulash, with savings of up to 9 percent. This suggests a potential price competition regarding meat products among major German discount retailers.
