Normal retail chain opens first stores in Prague

The Danish retail chain Normal is entering the Czech market with its first two stores opening in Prague at the Flora and Galerie Butovice shopping centers. The openings are scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, and Friday, August 14, respectively.

To support the launch, the company is implementing various marketing activities, including giveaways for the first thousand customers and gift cards for the first ten visitors at each location. Normal is also introducing a mobile loyalty application where customers can earn virtual currency, known as Uniqoins, to exchange for products.

The retailer's business model focuses on a combination of branded goods, permanently low prices, and a frequently rotating inventory. The assortment includes over 5,000 permanent items, supplemented by more than 100 new products added weekly, covering categories such as drugstore items, cosmetics, hygiene, household goods, food, and beverages.
