Norman Academy honors Puglia professionals in Rome

The Norman Academy held a ceremony at the Casa dell’Aviatore in Rome to recognize individuals for their contributions to peace, solidarity, and social responsibility. The event brought together figures from the diplomatic, scientific, religious, and cultural sectors.

Among the honorees was Antonio Giaimis, a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and National Delegate of the Norman Academy, who was named 'Benemerito' for his long-standing commitment to humanitarian initiatives and human dignity.

Several other professionals from Brindisi and the Puglia region received the title of 'Accademico d’Onore' for their professional achievements and civic engagement. Notable recipients included Iole La Rosa, leader of Formavobis and Futura, and journalist Maria Dolores Larva, who was awarded the 'Capitolino d’Oro'.
