Norman Finkelstein criticizes Netanyahu over UN remarks and Turkey

American Jewish political scientist Norman G. Finkelstein has criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following his recent speech at the United Nations. Finkelstein characterized Netanyahu as an “arrogant, disgusting man” and a “Jewish supremacist.”

Addressing Netanyahu’s comments regarding regional conflicts, Finkelstein argued that the Prime Minister is inaccurately describing the scale of Israel's involvement, claiming Netanyahu suggests the country is fighting on six fronts including Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, despite the small geographic size of Israel. Finkelstein further stated that Netanyahu is failing to account for the significant power of Turkey in his recent verbal attacks against the nation.
