Norman Reedus joins James Marsden in Apple TV thriller ‘Disavowed’

Norman Reedus has joined the series regular cast of the upcoming Apple TV action thriller ‘Disavowed’. Reedus, widely recognized for his role as Daryl Dixon in ‘The Walking Dead’ franchise, will star alongside James Marsden.

Details regarding Reedus’ specific character remain undisclosed. The series, created by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, follows Brad Griffin (played by Marsden), a legendary CIA case officer who is abruptly terminated during a global manhunt for an assassin. Disgraced and cast out from the intelligence community, Griffin decides to pursue a $15 million federal bounty on the assassin’s head independently.

Michelle MacLaren is set to direct the first two episodes and will serve as an executive producer. The project is produced by Apple Studios and Blue Marble Pictures, with executive production duties shared by Marcum, Holloway, Tom Spezialy, Rebecca Hobbs, and Marsden.
