Normandy hosts major flea markets and summer events

The Normandy region is hosting numerous summer activities and markets during the weekend of August 15-16, 2026.

In La Haye-du-Puits, a major flea market is expected to attract over 25,000 visitors. The event features more than 350 stands managed by professionals and individuals, offering antiques, collectibles, and second-hand goods. To manage the crowds, the town center has been pedestrianized and secured with concrete blocks.

In the Calvados department, approximately 14 flea markets and antique fairs are scheduled across locations such as Caen, Cabourg, and Aure-sur-Mer. Meanwhile, the Cotentin area offers various leisure activities, including canoe trips in Picauville, sandcastle competitions in Quinéville, and an antiques exhibition at the Château de Crosville-sur-Douve.

Additionally, the South Manche region continues its seasonal schedule with nearly thirty weekly and summer markets operating in towns like Granville, Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët, and Avranches.
