Norsemont Mining reports high-grade gold drilling in Chile

Norsemont Mining has reported a significant drilling success at its flagship Choquelimpie project in northern Chile. In the Vizcacha Zone, borehole MV26-DD13 intercepted 41 meters of drilling with an average grade of 4.59 g/t gold. This includes a high-grade core section of 18 meters at 9.7 g/t gold.

The results suggest substantial expansion potential for the historical gold, silver, and copper deposit. These findings are expected to add value to the existing resource, which exceeds 100 million tonnes of ore, and may make previously unproductive areas profitable.

As a former mining site, Choquelimpie possesses approved infrastructure, including power connections and a mill base, which may reduce capital expenditure requirements for restarting operations. The company has commissioned an additional testing laboratory to facilitate more frequent updates this autumn.
