North Aegean food producers showcase products at Piraeus Taste Fair 2026
Food production businesses from the North Aegean islands successfully participated in the Piraeus Taste Fair 2026, a ten-day gastronomic exhibition held at Piraeus' Pasalimani. Organized by the Municipality of Piraeus as part of the ‘Piraeus Taste Festival: Sea Food & More’, the event attracted tens of thousands of visitors from across Attica.
The North Aegean Region hosted a 63-square-meter unified pavilion, providing a platform for approximately 57 to 58 small and medium-sized enterprises to showcase local products, engage in B2B and B2C activities, and conduct direct sales. Regional Governor Konstantinos Moutzouris expressed satisfaction with the participation of local producers.
Key culinary highlights included live demonstrations featuring regional ingredients such as Lemnos white bean, Kalloni sardines, Lesvos dried figs, and Chios soft goat cheese. Participating brands included Aegean Agrofood, Karimalis Premium Ikarian Products, and various local cooperatives and wineries.
