North Beach Games and RedRuins Softworks announce new survival titles
North Beach Games has revealed the first teaser for Stranded Deep 2, a survival sandbox sequel set in a desert wilderness rather than the Pacific Ocean. Led by creative director Sam Edwards, the game features an endless river world, dynamic environments where players can reshape terrain, and mobile bases that can be moved via kayak or raft. The title is expected to enter early access on Steam in early 2027.
Simultaneously, Breathedge 2, a humorous space survival adventure developed by RedRuins Softworks and published by HypeTrain Digital, has launched in early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game follows a protagonist and an AI companion navigating a galaxy-wide war. Developers have released a roadmap aiming for a full 1.0 release in 2028, noting that early access allows for community-driven development.
