North Carolina Military Business Center announces leadership transition

Fayetteville Technical Community College and the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) have announced a transition in executive leadership. Scott Dorney, the founder and executive director who has led the organization since 2004, will step down from his role.

Martin J. “Jimmy” Hendrix III is set to assume the position of executive director, effective October 1. Since its inception in 2005, the NCMBC has played a significant role in the state’s defense economy, assisting North Carolina businesses in securing more than 7,000 federal contracts valued at nearly $19 billion.
