North Cloud Holdings adds Microsoft Azure to its platform

Cloud financial management startup North Cloud Holdings Inc. has released North 3.0, a major platform update that adds Microsoft Azure support. This expansion allows the platform to cover all three major hyperscale cloud providers, joining Amazon Web Services Inc. and Google Cloud Platform.

The update aims to address fragmented infrastructure spending by consolidating cloud, artificial intelligence, and data costs into a single system. North has introduced native integrations with OpenAI Group PBC, Anthropic PBC, and Snowflake Inc. to track expenses related to AI models and data platforms alongside traditional cloud infrastructure.

A new feature called Autobot uses machine learning to automate the purchase and adjustment of cloud commitments. Instead of large upfront reservations, the tool manages purchases in smaller monthly increments based on real-time consumption. Additionally, the update includes Noros AI, a FinOps large language model that enables users to create dashboards and surface insights using natural language.
