The North Dakota State Bison (6-1) are scheduled to travel to Albuquerque to face the first-place New Mexico Lobos (5-1) at University Stadium on Saturday, October 24. This matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs.

North Dakota State enters the game having recently secured bowl eligibility following a 31-17 victory over Nevada. The Bison's recent performance was highlighted by Jackson Williams, who recorded 251 all-purpose yards, including a 100-yard missed field goal return.

The New Mexico Lobos have won three consecutive games against New Mexico State, UTEP, and Hawaii to reach their current standing in the Mountain West Conference. The game is scheduled to be televised nationally on The CW.
