North Dakota State players sweep Mountain West Week 0 honors

North Dakota State University players swept the Mountain West Conference Week 0 honors following a 33-7 victory over Jacksonville State. The win marked the Bison's first game in the FBS.

Nathan Hayes was named Offensive Player of the Week after completing 14 of 22 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns in his first collegiate start. Donovan Woolen earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, recording a game-high 10 tackles. Kicker Drew Klein was recognized as the Special Teams Player of the Week after successfully converting all seven extra point and field goal attempts. Additionally, Blake Schiltz was selected as the Freshman of the Week after recovering a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and recording a sack.
