North Delhi Strikers win 2026 DPL Women's championship

The North Delhi Strikers (Women) have been crowned champions of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 after defeating the South Delhi Superstarz by six wickets in the final at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Chasing a target of 123, the Strikers reached 128/4 in 19 overs. Key contributions included 43 runs from captain Ayushi Soni and 40 from Archana, while Nazma secured the win with an unbeaten 24.

Earlier, the South Delhi Superstarz posted 122/6, led by Nishika Singh’s unbeaten 39 and captain Shweta Sehrawat’s 31. The Strikers' bowling attack maintained pressure, with Apeksha Anand delivering an economical spell of 13 runs in four overs.

In a separate DPL 2026 fixture, the Central Delhi Queens secured a 41-run victory over the East Delhi Riders. Nidhi Mahto led the Queens with an unbeaten 80 off 33 balls, helping the team reach 138/9. Deeksha Sharma took 3/19 to restrict the Riders, whose chase ended at 97/6 despite a 46-run partnership between Simran Bahadur and Purva Siwach.
