Denmark weather shifts from mild start to wet autumn conditions
Denmark is experiencing a period of unseasonably mild weather at the start of the week, characterized by temperatures reaching between 15 and 19 degrees Celsius in some regions. Meteorologists from the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) note that a weak warm front has caused overnight temperature increases in parts of Funen and Jutland.
However, this mild spell is expected to transition into more typical autumn conditions as the week progresses. A low-pressure system approaching from the southwest is forecast to bring increased cloud cover, rain, and showers starting Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to drop to between 10 and 15 degrees by Thursday and Friday.
Wind conditions are also expected to intensify, with gusts reaching gale force along the Skagerrak coast. While Monday remains relatively dry with some sun in eastern areas, the upcoming days will see a gradual shift toward wetter and cooler weather across the country.
