North Kalimantan Police urge security firms to improve professionalism

The North Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Kaltara) held an annual meeting in Tanjung Selor with representatives from security service businesses (BUJP) to emphasize the need for increased professionalism and human resource quality.

Kombes Pol Try Handoko WP, Director of Community Development, stated that security services must go beyond technical skills to include proper attitude, ethics, discipline, and communication abilities. The meeting aimed to strengthen synergy between security businesses, the police, and relevant regional agencies to ensure optimal field performance and public safety.

The forum included specialized sessions on the protection of vital objects led by Kombes Pol Joko Bintoro, as well as discussions on labor aspects and service optimization presented by Jusman from the North Kalimantan Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office.
