North Korea completes modern Myeongsasimni railway station

North Korea has completed construction of the Myeongsasimni railway station, a modern facility located in the Wonsan Galma coastal tourist zone of Kangwon Province. Spanning over 7,000 square meters, the station is intended to facilitate tourism in the East Sea region.

The completion ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including Cabinet Vice Prime Minister Park Hun and Gangwon Provincial People's Committee Chairman Hwang Man-bok. Minister of Railways Kim Ha-gyu stated that the project was completed under the direction of the Central Committee of the Party and serves as a symbol of progress and public welfare.

Officials described the station's unique architectural style as a model for local railway infrastructure. Railway employees have been instructed to manage services scientifically and responsibly to support the new facility.
