North Korea says denuclearisation is finished and denounces NATO, US, Japan and South Korea

The North Korean Foreign Ministry issued a statement declaring that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's denuclearisation is "theoretically and practically concluded and irreversible." The statement, released during the NATO summit, accused the United States, Japan and South Korea of a three‑way conspiracy to portray North Korea as a threat and criticized NATO as a "war‑facing organization" that expands its geopolitical ambitions into the Asia‑Pacific.

North Korean officials also argued that the concept of denuclearisation should apply first to the alleged nuclear ambitions of Japan and South Korea and to the nuclear‑sharing policies of NATO members, asserting that the DPRK will continue to build sufficient strength to defend its sovereignty and regional stability.
