North Korea says it shares a common strategic stance with Russia

North Korea’s Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui told reporters that Pyongyang and Moscow hold a “common position” on all strategic issues. She made the remarks at a ceremony unveiling a memorial plaque for the late Russian ambassador Alexander Matsegora at the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang.

The statement, quoted by Yonhap and Tass, emphasized the “allied relations” between the two states and pledged deeper cooperation based on “comradeship and trust forged in blood.” The ceremony was also attended by Jo Yong‑won, chairman of the Supreme People’s Assembly Standing Committee.
