North Macedonia Assembly to hold 122nd plenary session

The Assembly of North Macedonia is scheduled to hold its 122nd plenary session. Following the voting on the agenda, opposition MPs are slated to spend two hours posing questions to the Prime Minister and various ministers.

The legislative agenda includes several proposals for the appointment and dismissal of members for various committees and boards, including the Commission for the Protection of Competition and boards responsible for state awards such as ‘Mother Teresa’ and ‘St. Clement of Ohrid’.

Additionally, the session will address several proposed amendments via shortened procedure, covering laws related to representation before the European Court of Human Rights, communal activities, construction, road transport, sanitary and health inspection, and restrictive measures. Other items include proposals regarding the selection process for members of the Council of Public Prosecutors and the Judicial Council, as well as an interpretation of the Value Added Tax Law.
