North Macedonia creates 17,000 new jobs in two years
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that North Macedonia has created 17,000 new jobs over a two-year period, spanning from the third quarter of 2024 to the second quarter of 2026.
According to data from the State Statistical Office, the total number of employed persons rose from 691,000 to 708,000. Mickoski noted that the industrial sector accounted for the majority of these new positions. He expressed optimism that the development of data centers and related industries will drive further growth and encourage young citizens living abroad to return to the country.
