North Macedonia Defense Ministry reports over 50% female leadership

Vlado Misajlovski, the Minister of Defense and member of the VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee, announced that over 50% of the leadership staff within the Ministry of Defense are women.

Speaking at a political platform event titled ‘More Participation, More Democracy’ organized by the VMRO-DPMNE Women's Union to mark International Democracy Day, Misajlovski emphasized that women are a vital link in the functioning of the institution. He noted that while results are a collective effort, the high representation of women in leadership is a point of pride for the ministry. He further highlighted the importance of women's contributions to policy-making and democratic processes in North Macedonia.
