North Macedonia fuel prices decrease as gasoline drops by 5 denars

The Regulatory Commission for Energy, Waterworks, and Waste Management in North Macedonia has announced a reduction in the average retail prices of petroleum derivatives by 1.89 percent.

Effective from midnight on October 27, 2026, the prices for EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 gasoline will decrease by 5 denars per liter, bringing their maximum prices to 91 and 93 denars, respectively. The price of EURODIZEL BS remains unchanged at 99 denars per liter. Additionally, the price of extra light household oil (EL-1) will decrease by 0.50 denars to 110 denars per liter, while the price of Mazut M-1 NS will increase by 0.694 denars per kilogram to 54.273 denars.

The decision follows fluctuations in global reference prices, including an 8.12 percent drop in gasoline prices and a 2.06 percent increase in mazut. The calculation also accounts for a slight decrease in the denar exchange rate against the dollar and government measures, such as a reduced VAT rate for Eurodiesel and a four-denar excise tax reduction for gasoline and diesel.
