North Macedonia faces cyclonic activity and temperature drop
North Macedonia is experiencing significant cyclonic activity originating from Genoa, leading to unstable weather conditions, rain, and potential thunderstorms. Meteorologists report that much of the country will see variable cloudiness and intermittent rainfall, with heavier precipitation expected in western regions, where local accumulations may exceed 20 liters per square meter.
Following a period of warmer temperatures, a cold front from the north is expected to cause a significant drop in temperatures starting early next week. On Monday, moderate to strong northern winds reaching up to 60 km/h are anticipated. By Tuesday, the peak of this cold wave may bring snow to higher mountain elevations, while lower areas experience rain. Weather conditions are expected to stabilize with more sunshine by mid-week.
