North Macedonia football: Broadcasting confusion and Elif Elmas' ambitions

Confusion surrounds the broadcasting rights for the North Macedonia national football team's upcoming Nations League match against Scotland. While UEFA lists both MRT Play and Arena Sport as partners, viewers face uncertainty regarding which specific channel or package will host the game. This ambiguity follows a dispute involving Arena Sport Macedonia, MRT, and the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (AVMU).

In a separate development, Macedonian international Elif Elmas expressed his career ambitions in an interview. The 27-year-old footballer stated that his ultimate goal is to lead North Macedonia to a World Cup appearance. Elmas noted that he is currently focused on improving his individual statistics, such as goals and assists, to elevate his performance and help the national team progress toward qualifying for Euro 2028 and subsequently the World Cup.
