North Macedonia fuel prices remain stable except for industrial fuel oil
The Energy, Water and Waste Management Services Regulatory Commission has decided that retail prices for gasoline, diesel, and extra light household oil will remain unchanged. Effective from 00:01 on October 14, 2026, Eurosuper BS-95 will remain at 98.50 denars per liter, Eurosuper BS-98 at 100.50 denars, and Eurodiesel at 97.00 denars per liter. Extra light oil (EL-1) also maintains its price at 108.50 denars per liter.
The only adjustment is an increase in the retail price of M-1 NS industrial fuel, which will rise by 2.145 denars per kilogram to a new price of 51.742 denars per kilogram.
While global reference prices for gasoline and diesel saw a decrease of approximately 1.5%, the rise in the exchange rate of the denar against the US dollar and an increase in the market value of fuel oil offset these changes. The stability of consumer fuel prices is further supported by government measures, including a reduced VAT rate of 10% for diesel and a four-denar per liter reduction in excise duties for gasoline and diesel.
