North Macedonia Health Ministry to hire 300 specialists by year‑end

The government of North Macedonia has decided to lift the hold on the recruitment of 300 health specialists that were left unfilled from a planned cohort of 600. The hiring, originally scheduled by a 2024 decision, was delayed, prompting the Ministry of Health, led by Minister Sasho Klekovski, to reopen the process. Klekovski announced that the remaining 300 specialists are to be employed by the end of 2026, completing the original hiring target.

The move aims to address the shortfall in health personnel and ensure the ministry meets its staffing goals set for the 2024‑2026 period.
