The Ministry of Education and Science has launched E-Nauka, a new national electronic database designed to centralize information for all researchers in North Macedonia. The platform serves as a comprehensive registry for researchers, scientific organizations, and research statistics.

Minister Vesna Janevska stated that the portal is intended to bridge the gap between scientific research and the business sector to foster knowledge-based economic development. By providing advanced search capabilities, the tool allows businesses to identify specific experts in relevant fields, potentially driving innovation and new partnerships.

The database is integrated with global research platforms, including Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar, allowing users to view indicators such as citation counts and h-index scores. The registry is open to researchers from public and private universities, scientific institutes, and independent researchers working within the country, as well as those of Macedonian origin working abroad.
