North Macedonia opens 17th ‘One-Stop Service’ center in Chento
The 17th ‘One-Stop Service’ center has opened at the House of Culture in the Chento neighborhood, allowing citizens to obtain various documents more efficiently. Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski and Gazi Baba Mayor Boban Stefkovski attended the opening.
Andonovski noted that the initiative aims to bring electronic services closer to citizens, particularly those unable to use digital portals from home, reducing wait times and the need to move between counters. He reported that service usage has grown significantly, from approximately 1,300 services issued in 2025 to over 13,000 to date. The ministry aims to exceed 20 such centers by the end of the year.
To support rural areas, a specialized mobile van will soon begin visiting remote locations on a set schedule. Additionally, over 160 key public administration employees will undergo six-month digital skills training conducted by FINKI and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, a project supported by the European Union.
