North Macedonia police arrest 21 drivers for reckless driving

North Macedonian police arrested 21 drivers over a 24-hour period for reckless driving across various locations in the country. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the group of detainees includes 11 individuals who were driving without a valid driver's license and 10 individuals who were operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol.

Specific incidents included a 16-year-old in the Mavrovo and Rostuše Municipality driving without a license and a 16-year-old in Prokštip operating a moped without a license. Additionally, one individual in Makedonski Brod was caught driving despite having an active ban on operating category B vehicles. Authorities stated that criminal charges will be filed following the full documentation of these cases and have urged all road users to strictly follow traffic regulations to ensure safety.
