North Macedonia police detain 10 unlicensed drivers, including two minors

The Ministry of Interior reported that police carried out intensified traffic controls across North Macedonia and detained ten individuals for operating motor vehicles without a driving licence or the appropriate vehicle category. The detentions included two minors who were driving Mercedes‑Benz cars, a 36‑year‑old driving a Volkswagen Bora, and several other adults in various towns such as Skopje, Gostivar, Prilep, Gevgelija and Vellanovo.

In each case the vehicles were seized. The police said the incidents will be documented and criminal complaints for reckless driving under article 297 of the Criminal Code will be filed.
