North Macedonia promotes communication guide for citizens with hearing impairment

The Ministry of Public Administration in North Macedonia has promoted a Practical Guide for Communication and Service Provision for Persons with Hearing Impairment. The initiative aims to improve communication between state institutions and citizens with hearing impairments, ensuring more equal access to public services.

Developed by licensed sign language interpreter Daniela Dichovska, the guide provides practical instructions for administrative officials to use in their daily work. Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev stated that the goal of public administration reform is to remove systemic barriers so that all citizens can receive timely information and exercise their rights equally.
