North Macedonia reaffirms EU integration goal at Sofia forum

Zoran Dimitrovski, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia, participated in the fifth edition of the ‘EU Meets the Balkans 5.0’ forum held in Sofia, Bulgaria. During the event, Dimitrovski emphasized that European integration remains the strategic goal for North Macedonia, noting that the country is implementing reforms to achieve full membership in the European Union.

Dimitrovski highlighted that the integration of the Western Balkans is an investment in the security, stability, and competitiveness of Europe. He stressed the importance of good neighborly relations and regional cooperation through open and constructive dialogue. He also noted that gradual integration should provide concrete European benefits to citizens while moving toward full membership.
