North Macedonia reduces retail fuel prices

The Energy Regulatory Commission in North Macedonia has approved a reduction in retail fuel prices, effective from midnight on August 11, 2026. On average, maximum retail prices for petroleum derivatives have decreased by 5.81%.

Specific price adjustments include a 4 denar reduction per liter for Eurosuper BS-95 and Eurosuper BS-98 gasoline, and an 8 denar reduction per liter for Eurodiesel. The new maximum price for Eurodiesel is set at 91.50 denar per liter, while Eurosuper BS-95 will cost a maximum of 87 denar per liter.

This decision follows a decline in global reference prices for petroleum products, with gasoline reference prices falling by approximately 6.19% and diesel by 10.44%. These changes make fuel significantly more affordable in North Macedonia compared to neighboring Serbia, where diesel prices remain higher at approximately 227 dinar per liter.
