North Macedonia strengthens labor ties with Qatar and attracts new investment

North Macedonia is working to improve its investment climate and foster international cooperation to drive economic development and job creation. A key step in this effort is the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of labor between North Macedonia’s Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmishi, and Qatar’s Minister of Labor, Dr. Ali bin Sami Al Marri.

The agreement aims to strengthen institutional cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise regarding the labor market. On the domestic front, economic growth is being supported by investments and expansions from companies such as KIEL and Cavo Automatik, including activities within the Tetovo economic zone.
