North Macedonia Ministry of Economy announces manufacturing subsidies

The Ministry of Economy and Labor in North Macedonia has announced two public calls aimed at supporting manufacturing companies to enhance their competitiveness and modernization. The application deadline for both calls is September 15.

The first call, valued at 5 million denars, focuses on strengthening cooperation between manufacturing companies and universities. This initiative aims to improve technology and processes through innovation, digitalization, smart specialization, and the implementation of circular economy methods. Participating companies can receive up to 500,000 denars, with the Ministry covering 70 percent of eligible costs.

The second call, with a total value of 2 million denars, is designed for domestic companies seeking to implement or improve social processes and standardization. Under this program, companies can receive up to 200,000 denars, with the Ministry also covering 70 percent of the costs. Deputy Minister Marjan Risteski stated that these measures are intended to boost domestic production, introduce European standards, and improve the overall economic state of the country.
