Balkan weather forecast predicts heat and afternoon storms

Weather forecasts for Albania and North Macedonia indicate a period of high temperatures and atmospheric instability. In Albania, conditions are expected to remain stable with alternating clear skies and clouds, accompanied by moderate winds.

In North Macedonia, the Hydrometeorological Service predicts hot weather with maximum temperatures reaching between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius. While mornings are expected to be sunny and warm, afternoon instability is likely to bring heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Some areas may experience severe weather, including hail. Specifically, heavy storms have been noted moving through regions such as Kavadarci and Negotino, with instability also reported in Kočani, Kičevo, and the Skopje basin.
