North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister visits Kyiv to reaffirm support for Ukraine

North Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Timcho Mucunski, conducted an official visit to Kyiv to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sibiha. The discussions focused on deepening political dialogue, bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and economic ties.

Mucunski reaffirmed North Macedonia’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stating that “borders cannot be changed by force.” He emphasized that Ukraine’s security is directly linked to European security and noted that achieving a lasting peace requires American leadership working alongside European responsibility.

Additionally, the talks addressed the European perspectives of both nations and current security challenges. Mucunski expressed North Macedonia’s intention to act not only as a friend during the conflict but also as a partner in the future reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine.
