North Melbourne begins search for new senior coach

North Melbourne has commenced its search for a new senior coach following the departure of Alastair Clarkson. The club has reportedly made preliminary contact with a diverse group of candidates, ranging from seasoned professionals to emerging coaching talents.

Experienced candidates identified in the search include Adam Simpson, John Longmire, and Nathan Buckley. The club is also considering a new wave of assistant coaches and up-and-coming figures such as Jaymie Graham, Corey Enright, James Kelly, and Daniel Giansiracusa.

Xavier Clarke, a former player and current North Melbourne staff member, is also expected to enter the race. Clarke, who has experience coaching the Indigenous All Stars and contributed to Richmond’s recent premiership successes, has reportedly turned heads at the club and is expected to formally express interest in the position.
