North Northamptonshire Council opens £90,000 community grant scheme

North Northamptonshire Council has launched its latest round of community funding grants for the 2026-27 period. A total of £90,000 is available, with individual grants of up to £5,000 offered to voluntary and community groups.

The funding is intended to improve local quality of life and increase community involvement. Eligible applicants include registered charities, town and parish councils, and not-for-profit organisations such as school PTAs and clubs. The council is specifically encouraging applications from organisations with an annual turnover of less than £100,000.

To qualify, projects must align with the council’s Corporate Plan priorities of Community, Family, and Prosperity. Additionally, applications should address key areas of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy, including mental health, youth support, financial resilience, and physical activity.
