North Rhine-Westphalia film production seeks 800 extras

The production company Wiedemann & Berg, known for the series ‘Dark’, is seeking approximately 800 extras, doubles, and minor actors for an upcoming film project in North Rhine-Westphalia. The casting agency Eick & Weber is managing the search, which specifically highlights a need for hundreds of football fans, including supporters of clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Filming is scheduled to take place from late October to late November 2026. Locations include Düren, Dortmund, Mönchengladbach, Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, Cologne, and Kleinenbroich. Roles include football fans in stadiums, club members, judokas, trumpet players, and travelers on trains or the Schwebebahn.

Participants will receive a daily fee of 140 euros. The casting call is open to individuals of all nationalities, genders, and ethnic backgrounds, ranging in age from 0 to 90 years. No prior acting experience is required, and applications are being accepted through an online casting process.
